Ownership
Our herd of horses was born is 2003 and was created by the international opera singer, specialized in Guiseppe Verdis’ great operas, and also friend and enthusiast of horses Sergio de Salas.
As an artist, he is always in search of beauty, wherever he goes, and over this aim and goal he tries to boost the beauty in everything he does.
This is the main idea, over which our herd of horses has been designed. In order to do it, we first bought the “black coat” herd of horses from Mr. Carlos Fraile and the herd of horses “Yeguada La Nava”, descending mainly from the “Yeguada Escalera” and the “Yeguada Militar (all of the them with black coat as a base). From this point, a selection has been made, buying also some of the best stallions descending from Bohórquez and Romero Benítez.
The first colts born in the last few years, confirm us that we are in the correct direction as regards our aim of continue improving the P.R.E features, based on our breeding goal of Beauty, Health, Strength, Size and Great elegance in Movement.
Our facilities are located in the Natural park “Cuenca Alta del Manzanares”, 10 minutes by car from Plaza de Castilla and Madrid Baraja’s International Airport, next to the “Monte del Pardo natural park”, considered as National Wealth.

Note: Apart from Purebred Spanish horses, we also breed “Spanish Mastiff Dogs”, under the affix “Montes del Pardo.
